Seva

Seva is generally understood to be “service” and mostly is used in the context of religious service as in the case of a person doing Deity seva by bringing fruits and flower and bowing down before a form of God in a temple.

Our Story

Where It All Began

The convention of service in Sri Radha Raman Temple is one of the most idealistic in all of Braj Dham.

The temple follows ‘Apras Seva’ which means the Sevayat Goswami does not touches anything or anybody from outside once he enters the Service after bathing and wearing untouched clean clothes. In case he gets touched with anyone or anything, eats, drinks or answers nature’s call, he has to bath again to continue into Thakur ji’s service.

Thakur ji’s Seva in temple is based on Raganuraga devotion which is the service of Bhog and Raag.
